Well, this is a bummer! There are two reasons that your application for a First Dollar HSA might have been denied.
- Your identifying information was incorrect.
- Your credit report did not pass the check.
In the case that you might have input the wrong identifying information, you are more than welcome to reach out to us and let us know so we can check it out and update your application. This way, we can run it again with the correct information and open your First Dollar HSA!
If you were denied due to your credit report, it was based (in whole or in part) on information obtained in a report from Equifax Credit Information Services, Inc. (Equifax). You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to know the information contained in your credit file at Equifax. You also have the right to a free copy of your report from Equifax if you request it no later than 60 days after you receive this notice. In addition, if you find that any information contained in the report you receive is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to dispute the matter with the reporting agency (Equifax). The reporting agency played no part in our decision and is unable to supply specific reasons why we have denied your application.
