Here's how to update recurring contribution amounts after benefit enrollment

Did you make a mistake? Did a member change their mind? No worries! Here’s how you can update recurring contribution amounts.

How employer administrators can update recurring contribution amounts

  1. Select the Benefits tab.

  2. Select the appropriate benefit plan.

  3. Select the Overflow Menu to the right of the appropriate member.

  4. Select Edit Contributions.

  5. Write the desired amount under New for either recurring employee deduction or recurring company contribution.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Select Close.

How partner administrators can update recurring contribution amounts

  1. Select the Organizations tab.

  2. Select the desired organization from the list.

  3. Select the Benefits tab.

  4. Select the appropriate benefit plan.

  5. Select the Overflow Menu to the right of the appropriate member.

  6. Select Edit Contributions.

  7. Write the desired amount under New for either recurring employee deduction or recurring company contribution.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Select Close.

Updating automated, scheduled, and in-progress contributions

Here are some helpful reminders about updating contribution amounts for automated, scheduled, and in-progress contribution batches.

Timeline for automated contribution updates

Automated contribution amounts are updated and applied to the next contribution batch. The last date to update amounts for upcoming contributions is five (5) days before the pay date at 9:00 PM Central Time.

Updating in-progress contributions

You cannot update or cancel a contribution batch that is already in progress. Contact Support if you have any additional questions.

Updating scheduled contributions

If you need to update the contribution amounts for an existing automated contribution, you must cancel the contribution and manually schedule a new one.

Tip for updating scheduled contributions

Download the CSV for the scheduled contribution batch. Make your desired updates. After making your desired updates to the Contributions spreadsheet:

  • Cancel the scheduled contribution batch

  • Schedule a new contribution batch with the updated CSV.

  • Remember to update the recurring contribution amounts within the platform for future automated contribution batches!
