If you would like to deposit funds or get reimbursed, you will need to connect a bank account to transfer funds in and out of your account.

How to link your bank account:

  1. Select Profile.

  2. Select Linked Account.

  3. Select Add Bank Account.

  4. You will be directed to Plaid. Select Continue and choose one of the options below to proceed with linking your bank account.

You are not required to sign up with Plaid. You can skip entering your phone number.

Alternatively, you can get started in the quick action menu of your Health Wallet by selecting Deposit or Reimburse > Link Account.

A. Direct Bank Linking

  1. Select your banking institution from the list.

  2. Enter your login information.

  3. Follow your bank's linking directions.

B. Manual Bank Linking

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select Link with account numbers.

  2. Enter your routing number and continue with your bank's login directions.

If you have more than one account (i.e. savings and checking account) you may be prompted to select the account you want to grant access to.

Continued steps

  1. Authorize the required penny deposit to your elected bank account.

    1. You will need to log in to your mobile banking or check your bank account statements for penny deposits and note the amounts down so you can verify the bank link request.

  2. Once you have the penny deposit amounts, go to Profile.

  3. Select Linked Accounts.

  4. Select Verify and enter the penny deposit amounts.

It may take 24 hours for the penny deposits to show up in your bank account.

Is bank linking via Plaid secure?

Yes, authenticating your bank account via Plaid is secure. We, and our partners at Plaid, follow the same best practices for security and privacy as major banks. If your bank is supported, authenticating your bank using your login and password is the fastest and most secure authentication method.

We never see or receive your login information, it's encrypted, and it's sent directly to your bank to verify your identity.
